Complaints will be investigated immediately and resolved according to possibilities. If the Consumer does not agree with the handling of the complaint or if immediate investigation is not possible, the Service Provider will respond in writing to the complaint and its position within 30 days of receipt.
If the Seller rejects the complaint, they shall inform the Consumer in writing about which authority or Conciliation Body (Békéltető Testület) proceedings may be initiated. This information shall include the seat, mailing address, and contact details (website, e-mail, phone number) of the competent authority and the Conciliation Body based on the Consumer's place of residence/stay, as well as the Seller's position regarding the use of the Conciliation Body procedure.
If the dispute is not resolved through negotiations, the Consumer may exercise the following enforcement options:
Consumer Protection Authority Proceedings: In the event of a violation of consumer rights, the Consumer is entitled to lodge a complaint with the Consumer Protection Authority competent according to their place of residence. The authority decides on the conduct of the procedure after evaluating the complaint. First-instance tasks are performed by the district offices. Contact: https://kormanyhivatalok.hu/
Court Proceedings: The Consumer is entitled to enforce their claim arising from the dispute before a court within the framework of civil proceedings, in accordance with the provisions of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code and Act CXXX of 2016 on the Code of Civil Procedure.
Conciliation Body (Békéltető Testület) Proceedings: The Consumer is entitled to turn to the Conciliation Body competent according to their place of residence/stay if their complaint is rejected. A prerequisite for initiating the procedure is that the Consumer attempts to resolve the dispute directly with the Seller.
The Seller has an obligation to cooperate in the Conciliation Body proceedings. Accordingly, the Seller must send a response to the Conciliation Body's request and appear at the hearing, ensuring the participation of a person authorized to reach a settlement.
If the Seller's seat is located outside the county of the competent Conciliation Body, the obligation to cooperate extends to offering the possibility of a written settlement. Failure to comply with this cooperation obligation may result in a mandatory fine by the Consumer Protection Authority.
The Consumer may request the initiation of the Conciliation Body procedure in writing (via letter, fax, or electronically on the Body's website) addressed to the President of the Body.

A motion for the decision of the Body.
The Consumer's signature.
If the Consumer has requested a body other than the competent Conciliation Body, the designation of that body.
The document (or a copy thereof) referred to by the Consumer as evidence must be attached to the application.
